DIY Snow Ball Ornaments

from Gardners 2 Bergers

Did you get a chance to link up your Instagram profile at the Instagram Hop? Make sure you do, so you and I can all get linked up on Instagram!

Last year I was in the first year of my MBA program, so basically every type of crafting was put on hold. [Which is sort of like a DIY-ers torture.] Incidentally, we are heading into finally and I am dying for Christmas break!! Buuuuut the year before before school, when I ruled my life and not them, I made 5 or 6 different types of ornaments. Then, this year, I've done the same. Which means I'll be posting them all throughout this and next week!

Framing your Christmas Cards

So, I freaking love Christmas. I love the smells, the lights, the glitter, the ornaments, and the sparkles. You know what I hate?
I hate thousands of cards littering my fridge door. I especially hate when I close the door and they all fall down and scatter on my kitchen floor. I also hate that some slip under the stove, never to be seen again. I saw this DIY project on TV, where someone put all their pics in a frame, so I thought I'd give it a go. It has alleviated some my cluttered card burden and brought the cheer back to my merry heart.

DIY Stained Glass Ornaments
[Transparent & Opaque]

Christmas is here, bringing good cheer! Merry... Merry... Merry Christmas! I've been making myself merry by staining my own christmas ornaments. I'm not sure if many of you know how to stain glass bulbs, but these are quite easy to do. I wanted something to match my color scheme or blues and greens, which isn't always the easiest to find. That's why the DIY ornament is a perfect solution.

DIY [Faux] Concrete Planters

I'm not the type of gal who can keep plants alive. Cats and dogs, no problem. Maybe even a baby, although I haven't tried yet!  But plants? No me gusta! If you look close enough, you can see the brown tips at the leaves. Fortunately, the plants have survived long enough that I could get pictures of them for this awesome post. I don't expect them to survive my "house of plant death" much longer, so I'm taking bids if anyone wants to place a bet when these bite the dust.

Although the plants won't last long around here, at least they can look good while they're here! I love the concrete pots I've seen around the Blogosphere, but I haven't had a chance to try it myself. In the meantime, I already had some of those cheap, orange terracotta pots and I thought I could mimic the look I wanted.

How to DIY Gild a Gold Frame Chalkboard

from Gardners 2 Bergers

Today I walked past a girl in the mall, holding a sign that read, "Live, Love, Life!" She was chatting on her phone saying, "tots" this and "tots" that. I cannot tell you how many times I've seen that sign, but this "tots" was something totally new. After a quick "tots" Google search, my suspicions were confirmed, that "tots" is short for "totally." I suppose that's pretty original and here's something even more original, "LOVE! LIFE! LIVE!" *Did you see what I did there? ;-)

Hand-Turned Wooden Vase

from gardners 2 bergers

I love, "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade." It's one of my all time favorite movies. Near the end, when the knight asks Dr. Jones to choose a cup, he tells him to, "Choose wisely." For some reason, when I choose poorly, I hear the knight say, "You have chosen, poorly." Just like this;
