Dreamy Wood Ceiling & The Sistine Chapel, Vatican City

Now that we are in Rome, the art and architecture is coming hot and heavy. For example, we've spent several afternoons in the ginormous Vatican museum, which is a total dream for me. If you haven’t been to the Sistine Chapel, I can share my impressions. You enter and you’re taken aback by just how much is happening — all the walls and every inch of ceiling is covered in frescos.

Stripped and Stained Piano & a Trip to La Boca Veritas, Rome

We made it to Rome and our first day we strolled around our Trastavere AirBNB. One of the closest tourist stops is calledthe Mouth of Truth (Boca della Veritร s). Originally the disc’s from the temple of Hercules, but now people travel from all over the world ๐ŸŒŽ to put their hand in its mouth. The story goes, if the statue does NOT bite your hand, than you are true of heart! ๐Ÿ‘„๐Ÿ’– Somehow, we made it!

Weathered Beams & Apostle St. Andrew in Amalfi Coast

The incredible final resting place of the Apostle Andrew, in the tiny town of Amalfi on the Amalfi Coast. Duomo Di Amalfi towers above the small Amalfi square. You can see the duomo dwarfs the rest of the square, looking up these grand squares. This footage is mostly from the upper portion of the duomo, which was built in 900 AD!

EASY Barnwood Wall & Pompeii ART

We took around 1000 photos of Pompeii. I was shocked at the size of it, reading about the city in history books, you cannot comprehend the scale. The ruins are 80 hectares and it took us four days to explore everything. The customer services gals said most Americans get 2-3 hours there.
