DIY Barnwood [Looking] Cedar Wall

Oh man, we are driving back from Virginia Beach right now. We just had the best weekend- a romantic getaway before our month long trip to NYC. We got a good day and a half of beach time in    The beach is totally my happy place. It doesn't matter how stressed I feel, when I get to the beach I feel like I can breathe. I wish we had a chance to godown to the board walk though. Since we had our yorkies with us we stuck to North VB where pups are allowed. I think with the Fixer Upper craze and the crazy trend of Barnwood and industrial styling, this project will be perfect.

Industrial Ash Farmhouse Table

Good day, friends! We've spent a couple of days at Coloniel Williamsburg in Virginaa an that's their greeting. "Good day to you, madam." I went to Williamsburg when I was in elementary school in Virginia and I was thrilled to have the chance to show Zack all that I had seen. He loves Amerian history, so we were like two nerd in heaven with all the 17th century-ness. If you haven't been or heard of it, it's an entire town restores to its original condition around the early 1600's. They have real trade people in costume, teaching the techniques of their profession. It's amazing.

Rustic Barnwood Front Door

Hey, lovely friends. We just wrapped up our time on North Carolina and headed to Virginia today. I lived in VA when I was 7-12 years old and it's such a treat to be back for a few weeks. It is a fantastic place to live/visit. There are a ton of beaches, hiking, great schools and people and Washington DC is my favorite cities for museums.  I thought I'd share a wuick little project that will have major curb appeal!
