You guys! Zack and I are back in Forks, WA this weekend and it's been 5 years since we were last year. Forks is incredibly beautiful and is located in the Olympic peninsula, in WA. There's a real rainforest nearby and several of the dreamiest, most mystical beaches you've ever seen. It's eye candy for days and my eyes are soaking it all in.
I had just a few minutes for a simple and nautical inspired DIY.
Materials
- Raw Wood Beads: you can get them at Michael's, Amazon, etc.
- Wood Stain: Pining from Weatherwood
- Sponge Brush
Directions
Here's what I started with, but it was a larger bag. There's no prep needed for this simple DIY! Just stain the wood beads using a sponge brush and Weatherwood's PINING stain. You could even dunk the beads into the stain if that's easier. Allow them to dry for one hour. If you're worried about food stains, you could seal them with Varnish, but I left mine raw.

I love they slight gray with the wood tone coming through. No need to topcoat these, unless you think your going to be handling them a lot.
