We don't have a car here, although we rent them frequently But every day life is on foot, or a piedi. Our grocery shopping walk (or passegiare) takes us across the famous Arno River in Florence. It's a romantic walk, even when we are carrying heavy groceries back home.
In the evenings musicians and performers play on the bridge, entertaining passerbys for a few euro. The bridges are always crowded with tourists and lovers, drinking in the delicious colors.
The bridge with the little houses π packed closely together is the only original bridge left and it’s completely charming. Look at those little buildings! Who lives there? I want to stay on it!
