Easter is almost here! I know we have Saint Patrick's day first, but isn't it exciting that the day of resurrection is right around the corner. I mean just think of that! Death was conquered on that day.
Of course, everyone will be talking about the Easter Bunny, but for those of you who believe in Christ, Easter is pretty dang important! I don't want to draw too much attention away from the project I've done, but I get a lot of questions about my business... so here's the short version. I delivered my samples to a company in Park City Utah. The company is called Alder & Tweed. They do some incredible things with wood and they put me in touch with their painter, Jason... I can't remember his last name right now. Anyway, they seemed very excited and loved my sample set. I got Jason's number and I'll be contacting him soon. Hope things turn into sales soon! It's so exciting to see people get excited about my colors! Apparently, gray is a big deal!

Materials:
- Plaques
- Mod Podge
- Sponge Brush
- Pictures or Photos
- Dremel
- Ruler
- Wood Stain to Weather the Plaque
Directions:
- Stain your plaque. I always use this wood stain to weather and gray the wood.
- After your plaque is dry, you can paint the front of it with Mod Podge.
- After 60 sec press the photo or picture to the plaque and get good adhesion.
- Paint on top of the photo with another light coat of Mod Podge. Rub the photo to remove bubbles.
- Turn the plaque over to drill a hole. Mark the center and use a Dremel to drill a hole.
Wouldn't this plaque be darling in an Easter basket? A little something to remind you or the kids what the holiday is all about while we are all tearing through Cadbury eggs and stuffing Peeps into our faces?
While you're at it, if you have a little girl, a pair of jelly shoes goes a long way in the Easter basket. I've remembered getting the perfect pink pair all these years later!
