Green! Green! Green!
That's what this world is boiling down too! And thank goodness for that, tomorrow is St. Patrick's day and I don't want to get pinched. So here's the deal, I find St. Patrick's day incredibly amusing. As many of you know, I'm from New England and we LOVE St. Patrick's day!
We have a huge parade, we die the bay green, we wear funny green hats, we chase leprechauns, we find pots of gold at the end of rainbows. We pretty much roll out the green rug and give green hugs.
Materials:
- Baking Soda
- White Vinegar
- Water
- Essential Oil
- Measuring Utensils
- Sprat Bottle
Directions:
- Add 2 c Water
- Add 1/2 c White Vinegar
- 20-30 Drops Essential Oil: Good mixtures include, peppermint vanilla, orange and lavender and vanilla. There more info on green cleaning with oils here and oil combos here.
- 2-3 tsp Baking Soda (add more for stubborn areas.) Make sure baking soda is dissolved before spraying/
- Shake well before using.
That's all there is to it. I shared a few of my fav essential oil combos. And just so you know, I'm not working for an oil company or anything. I don't endorse any brand of oil over another, I just use what I like.
***BUSINESS UPDATE***
So Jason, who is a painter up in Park City, Utah placed a 60 gallon order. He seemed really amped and we were super stoked. Apparently there's some secret project going on up there where he was going to use our product, but, the terms just didn't work out. It was a little disappointing since this was going to be our largest order and it was local, but then it fizzled. The good news, though, is that we are hearing from so many people now, our inventory simply can't keep up. I'll tell you all more about that later. Keep in touch.
Thanks all, I hope you all enjoy this post and enjoy going green! See you Thursday for our contributor post.
love this and love your blog but I wish you would edit it for spelling. Mis-spelling vinegar twice kinda makes me crazy.
ReplyDeleteHaha- thanks for the heads up, Suzie. I'll have to edit that pic. Thanks for saying hi!
