Easy Niche Update: DIY Triangle [Faux] Wallpaper

Big money, now whammies! Big money, no whammies, STOP! Does anyone remember that game show, "Press Your Luck?" So I don't usually do a post on Thursdays... but after I found this, I had to make an exception! Since Monday, I announced the BIGGEST giveaway this little blog has ever seen! Yahoo!

No Whammies!  [You can stop by --> here for your chance to win some holiday shopping cash -> $500!! Good luck! ]
I always mention this when I show a part of my home, but Zack and I rent a 2B
/2B condo since we've both been in grad school. That's my disclaimer for whenever I show a new room or something, cause I try to lower your expectations right away! lol  Now, just so you know, I can't paint the walls here. I am "stuck" with this white-ish color, so I needed to be creative. I came up with this little idea when I saw some black and white tree wallpaper on Pinterest and it was like a light bulb for me.
I've had this little nothing corner of the bedroom since we moved here. It's where the master bath meets the walk-in closet and it has served no purpose. It's been sitting like the wallflower at the dance for 2+ years and the time was right to make a move.
This projects was so easy, it barely requires a tutorial! I just used leftover chalkboard contact paper from this chalkboard contact paper backslash project.
This is all you need to make this bad boy a reality. I had some scraps leftover and I thought I could cut them into triangles and create something from that. It's not perfect, but it's fun! The triangles are around 2' h and 2.5' w and it only took around 20 minutes to cut them all out.

So for zero extra bucks I had a faux wallpaper option. Next, I just redistributed some of the furniture in our place to create a "drop zone" in front of the closet. This way I can put on shoes -or place the one thousand articles of clothing, which should be hung up but never are! ;-S
That, my friends, is all she wrote!! Whats did you think?? It's fun and temporary- and free, so I'm happy!
Now, just make sure you don't forget to pop on over and enter that massive holiday giveaway! I think it would be so stinkin' cool if one of my readers won! I can't wait to find out who it is!
