I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas {or Happy Hanukkah for that matter}! If you want to check how things looked around here, feel free to pop over and check it out. We had a silver, white, turquoise and apple green holiday!

Now, ever peruse around your favorite stores and think to yourself... hmmm... that is just too much. Ever follow that thought up with, I wonder if I can do that on my own? Well, that hmmm... moment happened to me when I saw this piece at Restaration Hardware "E" Eye Chart, which sells for a mere $345 to 595! Aye!
Although my version doesn't include a 12 color printing process, I think its just about the same.
I am loving the symmetry of all those turning E's.

I made mine using Microsoft Publisher and recreated Rest Hardware's expensive art. It wasn't all that hard, but a little time consuming to get everything lined up right. I used the same process with this eye chart as I did with my subway art to mimic the mottled, worn black background.
Refer back to that step-by-step tutorial if you're interested in creating the same look.
I used Staples to print it up, they can be a bit slow, but have the very best prices. Mine was printed to 11x14 and cost me $1 since I printed it in color.
To be honest, I'm not loving it in this spot- so I'm already planning an upcoming move for this one. Good luck and please, feel free to share your hmm... moment.
