This week's project comes from the talented Urban Farmhouse! This project is awesome because I've been dying to show you all how you can layer reactive stains!
Materials
- Palm Sander
- 80 & 120 grit sandpaper
- Sponge Brushes x2
- Weatherwood's Reclamation Stain (save 10% with code: WELCOME10)
1.] SAND
Sand the wood to remove any existing wood finish and open the grain. Begin with 80 grit sandpaper and, for a finer finish, you can sand with 120 before staining.
2.] STAIN
If you want a dark gray, you should use Reclamation. If you want a brown with gray in it, use Restoration. If you want BOTH, simply layer the stains! Brush on one, allow to dry 30 minutes and brush on the other.
3.] PROTECT Use Weatherwood Varnish to protect the color and the wood. We recommend applying 2-3 coats, like the professionals.

Didn't the color turn out dreamy? The process could not be easier. Do not forget readers save 10% with code: WELCOME10. If you have any questions, leave'm in the comments below and I will see you tomorrow at the party!
