Mid Century Modern Makeover

Mid Century Modern Makeover using #ChalkPaint and #Weatherwoodstains on #fg2b

Hello, Ya'll! That is getting easier and easier to say now that I'm down in the south. Though when I say it here, everyone looks at me like I'm not from here. Ever wanna take something old and make it new? Better yet, make it modern? I seriously like the way things are going with the 70's mid century modern. Though I hate having to say it like that. Can't we just condense it to midmod? Or Centmod? #mod?
Anyways, here's a mid century modern dresser makeover by the talented Krizia, from Oak and Olive.  Krizia always does a wonderful job giving life to vintage furniture. I thought she did a beautiful job pairing this mid century piece with a Weatherwood stained drawer fronts.

To get this look, you'll want to paint the frame in a light, linen white. The frame's edges are very lightly distressed. Krizia says she left the legs au-natural. Of course the drawer fronts she sanded and stained with Weatherwood's Reclamation stain. to the get that warm wood with a hint of gray.

This piece turned out so beautiful and it's no longer for sale. Krizia does have several other pieces for sale on her Etsy page. I love Krizia's geometric take on on old pieces. You'll have to check our Krizia's blog or social if you're looking for unique furniture ideas  You can see more from her on Insta, FB, & Etsy.
