This was a fun little makeover!
My husband got this
It has sat on the bottom shelf of our side table since Z received and yes, Z LOVES it! Me, not so much, I move it whenever I take pics for this little blog.
But her time has come, this little lady {I think it's a feminine piece} is headed for an extreme makeover.
I decided our living room, when it's

For the face makeover I downloaded a clock face {basically just numbers} and printed it on a misty grey, honeycomb background which I love.

Incidentally, have you seen these awesome pattern pieces from Sprik Spaces? I can think of a zillion uses for them and they come in 25 colors so get over there and let your imagination run wild.
There you have it-a much-much, oh, ever so much-much, so muchly much-much more improved upon clock. {Name that book, if you can!}
I can leave the clock out when I take photos now. ☺
My favorite part is the new face. I think the honeycomb design behind the numbers is so, so fun!

Thanks for reading! You can also check out my complete ottoman transformation and my side table makeover- where I turned the MDF table [two pics above] into this faux zinc, one!
Love the color--great makeover!

Great job! I don't know why I've hesitated painting my mantel clock. I have an oak one that the sides taper down a little longer than this one and I've wanted to paint it, but I've held back. I think I may need to try one of the new chalk paint samples I just got and this would be the perfect project!
ReplyDeleteOh that is one sweet looking clock now! Great going!!
