Blog Crush: "In the Fun Lane's" Dreamy Kitchen

Have you ever had a day where you feel like you're watching a life through a scrambled TV signal? For those of you who grew up in the 80's and before-- perhaps you remember white noise? And how it was comprised of thousands of black dots scrambling around, all the while your speakers blasted the most irritating noise. And it was all you could do to change the channel so you didn't have to hear it one minute longer.
Yeah.
That was pretty much my day.

I call this, Blah. BLAH is an acronym. for: Boring... Lame... Awful... Hmph!

No matter what I did today, I felt all of these. Nothing seemed to get me out of my funk, so, I turned to a source of inspiration that brings those scrambling patterns into focused images. My ray of hope? Beauty. This time my ray of hope came in the form of these awe inspiring after pics.

These beautiful pics come straight from one of my favorite blogs- Holly from In the Fun Lane. Truthfully, I've wanted to share her with you all for ages. She's been blogging for several years,  but I don't see her projects around as much a I should. I mean, she is so, so good- you'll see. Just look at her redesigned kitchen!

She has shared oodles projects and furniture makeovers and just this last year she has moved on to flipping homes- find her first home reno here and her second flipped home here. Now she chooses the homes, redesigns the space, runs the construction crew, makes the plans, & chooses decor-- I mean, she is an entrepreneur and blogger -- I just love it!!

What do you think? Is it all I've said it would be? Don't you adore the light fixtures? The slipcovered furniture? That subway tile? Yeah, me too.

One of the best things about Holly, besides how down to earth she seems, is that she is constantly changing things in her home. It is a cycle of eye candy you wouldn't believe. You can find the other spaces in her home here.
